यदि मामप्रतीकारमशस्त्रं शस्त्रपाणयः। धार्तराष्ट्रा रणे हन्युस्तन्मे क्षेमतरं भवेत्।।1.46।।
yadi mām apratīkāram aśhastraṁ śhastra-pāṇayaḥ dhārtarāṣhṭrā raṇe hanyus tan me kṣhemataraṁ bhavet
Meaning
Choosing principled inaction over compromising your values yields greater long-term benefit than winning through unethical means.
Translation
If, in this battle, the sons of Dhrtarastra, armed with weapons, kill me, who am non-resistant and unarmed, that will be more beneficial for me.
