Bhagavad Geeta 4.7
Sanskrit
यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत। अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदाऽऽत्मानं सृजाम्यहम्।।4.7।।
yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛijāmyaham
Meaning
When systems fail and ethics erode, leaders must step up and restore integrity through decisive action and moral example.
Translation
O scion of the Bharata dynasty, whenever there is a decline in virtue and an increase in vice, then I manifest Myself.
