श्रोत्रादीनीन्द्रियाण्यन्ये संयमाग्निषु जुह्वति। शब्दादीन्विषयानन्य इन्द्रियाग्निषु जुह्वति।।4.26।।
śhrotrādīnīndriyāṇyanye sanyamāgniṣhu juhvati śhabdādīn viṣhayānanya indriyāgniṣhu juhvati
Meaning
Master your senses through discipline, and redirect external distractions inward. True progress comes from controlling what captures your attention, not avoiding it.
Translation
Others offer their organs, such as their ears, etc., in the fires of self-control. Others offer the objects, such as sound, etc., in the fires of their organs.
