Bhagavad Geeta 3.34

इन्द्रियस्येन्द्रियस्यार्थे रागद्वेषौ व्यवस्थितौ। तयोर्न वशमागच्छेत्तौ ह्यस्य परिपन्थिनौ।।3.34।।

indriyasyendriyasyārthe rāga-dveṣhau vyavasthitau tayor na vaśham āgachchhet tau hyasya paripanthinau

Meaning

Don't let likes and dislikes cloud your judgment. Master your preferences to make objective decisions and lead effectively.

Translation

Attraction and repulsion are ordained with respect to the objects of all the organs. One should not be swayed by these two, as they are adversaries.
