विषया विनिवर्तन्ते निराहारस्य देहिनः। रसवर्जं रसोऽप्यस्य परं दृष्ट्वा निवर्तते।।2.59।।
viṣhayā vinivartante nirāhārasya dehinaḥ rasa-varjaṁ raso ’pyasya paraṁ dṛiṣhṭvā nivartate
Meaning
Detachment from outcomes doesn't mean avoiding action—it means performing your duties without craving results. True freedom comes from understanding what truly matters.
Translation
The objects recede from an abstinent person, except for the taste for them. Even this taste falls away after realization of the Absolute.
