अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च। न तु मामभिजानन्ति तत्त्वेनातश्च्यवन्ति ते।।9.24।।
ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ bhoktā cha prabhureva cha na tu mām abhijānanti tattvenātaśh chyavanti te
Meaning
Focus on understanding the deeper purpose behind your work, not just its surface rewards. Disconnection from meaning leads to failure.
Translation
Indeed, I am the enjoyer and the Lord of all sacrifices, but they do not know Me truly. Therefore, they fall.
